What is ArtWorkshops.tv? ArtWorkshops.tv was launched in 2008 to provide online instructional videos workshops from leading contemporary artists. The videos are streamed to ArtWorkshops.tv members so that they can be viewed 24/7 from any computer with a high-speed internet connection. You can choose to subscribe to any of our individual workshops for a 1-day, 1-week or 1-month period play it any time during the rental period. You can also buy a DVD of most workshops at the bottom of each workshop page from the ccpvideos.com website. How do I check my computer to see if it will play these workshops? You will need a Flash Player to view the previews and a high-speed internet connection. A Flash Player which can be downloaded HERE. Check your speed here: http://www.artworkshops.tv/bandwidth/index.html/ We recommended an average download speed of 700 Kbps or greater. Can I play AWtv workshops on a MAC? YES. Our new site allows both MAC and PC users to play our video workshops. Do I need to have a high-speed internet connection to use ArtWorkshops.tv? Yes. In order to have a satisfactory viewing experience with the 90+ minute video workshops offered at ArtWorkshops.tv you'll need to have a high-speed internet connection; typically Cable, DSL or satellite dish. If your flash video is skipping or stalling and then jumping ahead: Please visit this URL: http://www.artworkshops.tv/bwchecker/bwchecker.html and paste this code into the small window at the bottom: rtmpe://artworkshops.tv/bwcheck . Then email us back a screenshot of the result. This may help us diagnose the problem. An option available to help speed up your connection to install a free accelerator available through: http://www.speedbit.com. To clear your browser cache (PC): On Microsoft Internet Explorer: Go to "Tools", then "Internet Options". Click "Delete Files" under "Temporary Internet Files" and click "OK". To empty your browser cache (Mac): On Microsoft Internet Explorer: go to "Edit", then "Preferences". Under "Web Browser" in the left-hand column, click "Advanced". Under "Cache" on the right-hand side, click "Empty Now". Click OK. Where can I view a free preview of each workshop? To view a short preview of each video art workshop, click on the tab labeled "Browse our Catalog " or one if the media tabs at the top of each page. You will then see a list of all available workshops. You can then click on the link to view the free preview listed at the bottom of each workshop's description. What are the options available for viewing and purchasing a video workshop? There are three ways to view each video workshop, 1-day, 1- week or 1-month rental of unlimited streaming. You can also buy the DVD from each media partner. Is there a limit on how many times I can view a workshop? No. You can view a video workshop as many times as you like during the term of your subscription. How is time measured for a 1-day, 1-week & 1-month rental period? The clock for each rental period begins when you order the video. 1-day is 24 hours from the start time. During this period you can come back and restart your video "stream" any time you like and as many times as you like. A blue line will appear in your "media" folder that tells you how much time is left on each video. Once the rental period has expired the video will appear in your "Expired Media" folder. You can rent it again by simply clicking on the link and repaying. How many computers I can view each workshop on? Each workshop is licensed for the personal use of the renter. You can view it from up to three (3) different computers. This enables you to view each video at home, your studio and from vacation, for example. Please visit our Support Page and submit a request if you need access from an additional computer. How often are new video workshops added? New workshops are added frequently, at least monthly. More will be added as new Media Partners join ArtWorkshops.TV. How can I contact you with questions? If you want to contact us for any general reason, please send an email to customer-service@ArtWorkshops.tv. In your email message, please provide us with your full contact information including your day-time phone number and the name and address used when placing your order. The more detailed you are in your email correspondence to us, the more quickly we can reply back with the appropriate information. You can also use our site contact form. If you have technical problems using this website contact our 24/7 tech support help desk: 866-599-5339. How can I change my email address or password? To change your email address, just Login from the right side of any web page, click on the "My Account" link (at the right side of every page) and then click on the "Account Information " link. You can change any of your account information in this form. If you lose your password a new one can be emailed to you by clicking the "Lost Password?" Link in the login area. How can I change the credit card I use for purchases? Next time you check out you will be asked for your credit card. Just enter the new card you would like to use and check the box "Store Credit Card Info". This new credit card will be avaliable next time you check out. How can I change my contact information? To change your contact information, just Login from the right side of any web page, click on the "My Account" link (at the right side of every page) and then click on the "Account Information " link. You can change any of your account information in this form. What credit cards do you accept? We currently accept the following major credit cards: VISA, MasterCard. (We also accept PayPal payments.) Is this a secure site for ordering? Yes. When entering your credit card information to make a purchase, your credit data is secured by a Secure Site Certificate. Please note that your full credit card number is only stored if you request it and only the last 4 digits are shown on your webpage for identification. For added security, you are always asked for the 3 digit security code from the back of your card with each order and our employees never have access to your full credit card number. Can I download these video workshops? No. ArtWorkshops.tv is designed for streaming videos. If you would like to own a DVD copy please look on the the video page and contact the Media Partner listed at the bottom of each video page. Are these same workshops available on DVD? Yes, most ArtWorkshops.tv video workshops are available on DVD from the Media Partner that produced them. Most are currently available from the CCPVideos.com website. You will find direct links at the bottom of each workshop page. Can I share a link to your video workshops with friends, on Internet video or file sharing sites? Because part of the mission of the site is to help artists earn royalties from these workshops, we do not allow customers to share links to workshop videos. How do I advertise on your site ? You can place banner ads on this site. To view the price information please log in as: "Advertiser". Password is "advertiser99". You can contact us on the contact page with other questions. If I have a 64 bit operating system can I can watch your videos? We do not currently support 64 bit operating systems. We have had reports of our video player not functioning properly in Firefox running in Vista 64. |
